7 Styles Your Wardrobe Needs This Summer

Updated: Jun 10

While Fall fashion holds my heart, Summer is the best season for effortless looks. Although one could be overwhelmed with the influx variations of bold colors, patterns & textures, I'm a true believer of "When in doubt, play it safe". My Summer style consists of breathable fabrics, neutral tones & adaptable items.

The best part about these styles are that you can get them pretty much anywhere and can adapt them to your own personal style by adding as much or as little accessories that fits your needs.

Keep scrolling to see some of my favorite Summer trends

Style Notes: The cult favorite overside white shirt can be worn tucked, untucked, as a dress, with heels, sneakers or as a cover-up.

Style Notes: Not only is linen super comfy & breathable, but something about it just screams I go to Turks & Caicos in the Winter & Montauk in the Summer. Perfect in white, black or beige & can be paired with bodysuits, tucked tees & of course - a white button up

Style Notes: You can literally never go wrong with a co-ord set! Specifically one made of cotton. The outfit is already pre-picked for you & you can still wear the pieces separate to create more looks.

Style Tip: I'd be lying if I said mules were in this season because they're in EVERY season. They add a stylish element to what can be simple outfits. You can wear these with jeans, shorts, skirts, dresses etc.

Style Tip: These aint yo' Daddy's grilling sandals! This trend has re-entered the scene last year, and honestly I'm not mad at it. From Prada to Public Desire, there's a version of this style for everyone's budget.

Style Tip: So while some non-believers thoughts the mini bag trend would die quickly, here we are 4 years in & still going strong. While some argue against their functionality, they are still a great accessory statement piece - especially when you choose a bold color!

Style Tip: Dresses with mild cut-outs speak perfectly to that classic femininity style. Because of the cut-outs, you can accessorize simply to allow for the dress to be the main attraction.
